It's my first week back from holiday - been in Normandy for a couple of weeks.
My brother (Steve) has been looking after Snuff Store for Julia and I whilst we've been away. He's not passed anything over to me, but if there's any queries outstanding for the last week in May and first in June - my apologies, please send to me and I will deal ASAP.
Steve said it was a pleasure dealing with Snuff Store's users and has struck up a few email conversations with people that he intends to carry on. My only fear was that he'd help himself to too much stock, but things look pretty much as they'd been left! LOL!!!
We had a pleasant time in Normandy, stayed close to the D-Day landing beaches, so I managed to see lots of historic places that I'd only ever read about or seen on the telly. We got to a few anniversary services and met a bunch of vets who told me their ferry crossing was a lot easier than it was 64 years ago!
Also, if you're ever in Arromanche visiting the Mulberry Harbour, there's a nice Tabac on the main road (it's a small village so there's only one Tabac) who sells a selection of Poschl. Other than that, I tried every Tabac I came across and found very little in the way of snuff unfortunately.
Welcome back Tim. I went to Arrowmanche with my school about 12 years ago, the museum there is pretty good as I remember it, we saw the Bayeux Tapestry and a few other places as well, it was a good trip.
