    Just got me a snuff box off ebay for $16 USD hope it is in decent shape...

    Pretty nice, hopefully the lid is somewhat tight. What are the dimensions? Is this going to be a pocket box or a desktop box or just a showpiece?

    Its 3 inches in diameter!! So probably suitable for my pocket!

    So its a similar size to a Toque tin.

    Just about....I like that it was cheap and hopefully it functions well!!

    nIce one, I think however that 3 inches in diameter is a bit big, not to put in your pocket but I'm afraid that the snuff you put into it will dry out in no time at all. I have the same problem with some of my wooden boxes and they are a lot smaller. Would be a nice box for schmalzler type snuffs however.

    I think the seal will still be tight, looking at the picture there seems to be no damage to the rim

    Got the snuffbox its beautiful in design...but the seal is not very good for carrying around!! I think I could maybe buy an O-ring and it might work out but its still a good box for my desk...
