A mushroom snuff would be a first. I know there is a mushroom pipe tobacco.

I would love a Marshmellow flavored. It could go with Peanut butter. Then if you make a Grape Jelly we could have a Peanut Butter, Jelly, and Fluff Snuff!!!!!!

I know I have joked about it in the past, but I still think a bacon scented snuff would be outstanding.

As a great fan of Earl Grey Tea I dream of a snuff with a distinctive bergamot flavour.

I also would like a snuff with Neroli Oil (like F&T Seville).

I'll second that! Best Dark is a wonderful snuff. Definitely got the right flavours.

Butterscotch sounds like a good idea too.

But this mushroom pipe tobacco mentioned by Juxtaposer is something I'm really curious about. A mushroom snuff is something I'd definitely buy though :)

I would like a real Latakia scent. Maybe with some oriental too, so it smells like Nightcap or something like that.
I would also be interested in a high strength, natural flavor.

    Sprangalang et al,
I like the oriental idea. I had been thinking of a jewel copy, however Macalpe helped me track down a Moroccan snuff called ‘Nefha’ which I love and feel is very close to ‘SJ’. It conj ours up images of the suk (a spice market) at Marrakesh and this is tempting me to go a little more spicy than 'SJ'.
I also like quite like the bitter (beer) idea. I have to say sorry but I hate the mushroom idea, too many possibly unpleasant odors.
So many flavours so little time.

Another good flavor/scent that would make a superb snuff is Pear. Also something like Root Beer or Sarsaparilla?? Even Pine, Fir or Cedar to keep the moths out of your nose.

Hehehe... mushroom snuff was partly a joke :)

Troutstroker's Root Beer / Salsaparilla idea is also quite nice. Though same as with Apple, I would fear the taste wouldn't be intense enough and rapidly fading.

    How about these?

Rosemary / Basil (for italian food lovers)
Ginger / Gingerbread (this one could be delicious)
Cinnamon (though I don't know how well you could make this using only natural flavoring)
    Cardamom
Piña Colada or just Coconut - I don't think I've ever seen one like this

I think you might be onto something with the pina colada or cocunut. That sounds very unique and delicious.

    @BrianC,
Thats exactly what I was thinking when I wrote down pina colada. I love anything coconut. From coconut ice cream & coconut cream pie to coconut shrimp even coconut milk. And I could drink pina coladas all day long.

    A mushroom pipe tobacco ? hmm why do I find this intersting, Tell me more georgie boy tell me more.;

Above is my shamless quote stealing from Clockwork Orange

If you could make something fairly close to how good the Spanish Jewel is I would definitely be buying bunches of it, I have to say that SJ is my most used and the favorite of all my snuffs, just too hard to come by. This one would definitely be at the top of my list for new flavors if you can pull it off.

I haven't tried the pipe tobacco called Shortcut to Mushrooms made by Just for Him, but the good reviews it received on Tobaccoreviews.com made it out to be very interesting.

I would have to agree with you trout, coconut imo is one of the best flavored things in world. I'm sure to love just about anything that has coconut in it.

If I'm not mistaken, Sam Gawith already makes a Coconut snuff. I havn't tried it yet, but I have defianatley read about it in the past.

That being said, I'd still try a Toque made Coconut flavor, since I have stated a few times before, Toque has won me over with thier strong natural scented flavorings, as compared to others....

I don't see any mention of coconut on the Sam Gawith website.

I like smarost's suggestions, cocunut and ginger sound like great ideas to me and freshly chopped basil is one of my favourite smells ever. It might be a bit odd as a snuff but who would have thought peanut butter would work so well.

Also, I was just eating passion fruit flavoured tic tacs......

Sam Gawith Coconut was discussed briefly on snuffboxthenasalclub in August of 2005, here is the link
    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/snuffboxthenasalsnuffclub/message/19013

and got about 76 results discussing S.G> coconut after doing a search on that site for coconut, the results of which can be found by clicking this link
    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/snuffboxthenasalsnuffclub/msearch?date=any&DM=------------&DD=----&DY=----&DM2=------------&DD2=----&DY2=----&AM=contains&AT=&SM=contains&ST=&MM=contains&MT=coconut&charset=utf-8

I'm sure I saw it available about a year ago, but I can't remember where. If I had to guess though, I believe it was available through Bespoke tobacco when he sold other brands as well as his own.

Anyways, it seems it is now not made or available so I'm sure it would make an interesting flavor for Toque which always seems to make an incredible snuff flavoring....

Could its not being available be down to it not being commercially viable?
The best flavours are the strong ones, that’s why we have to make a cherry snuff as an aroma/taste sensation it is very powerful, where as grape or water melon are too subtle.

I'm a fan of citrus snuff so I'd back the suggestions for a Lemon or Pink Grapefruit flavour.

On the same theme, how about a St Clements - Bitter Orange and Lemon ? That would save me the pain of having to mix Seville and Lemon Grove together :o)

I also liked the Amaretto suggestion. Another booze flavour I reckon would work well would be Drambuie - Whisky and Honey. Or you could go the whole hog and go for Toddy flavour, with Whisky, Honey and Lemon. I would definitely shovel that up my nose.

I have to agree that a citrus flavour is a must.
Love the Toddy idea, but would it be commercial?
