I have been looking for for some time now. Most tobacco shops are clueless. I found one on Milwaukee Ave between Lake Cook and Deerfield Rd that has some Poschl, but that is it.
ANy one know of any others that have any interesting stock?
I had the same problem in my area. I live in MA, and called tobacco shops all around. Some of them said there was no demand so they didn't carry it. Some of them had no idea what Nasal Snuff was. One shop even though I asked for 'Nasal Stuff' and thought I was trying to buy drugs! Even if you are to find a shop that carries Snuff it will probably be 3 tins and probably be all Poschl or they may carry an American Snuff. Good luck with your search. I found a list on Sheffield Exchange that you might want to check out.

I haven't found much snuff at all in the burbs. I did find a solitary can of Garrett Sweet once, and a few tins of Poschl at a cigar shop in Lillymoor. For this reason, all my snuff is etailed.
I actually live just south of O'Hare airport. I've been looking around myself, but haven't really found any places. There is the link that dajawu posted, but then you are paying for shipping on top of tax. To drive there means to fight traffic. I've found it's much easier to buy online.
Stayed downtown on Mother's Day weekend (yes, I'm a little behind posting this now, but my computer didn't work at the time). Since it was only a few blocks from the hotel we walked down to Iwan Ries to check it out. Nice place with very friendly staff. Unfortunately, I only had a few minutes to spend there. I grabbed some snuffs and the salesperson set me up with some great pipe tobacco's and even gave me the remainder of an open tin. As far as snuffs they have some Deans Swift, Poschl, and Samuel Gawith. Not too extensive, but the most selection I've seen in person in any store. I think it was worth the trip (walk) as my wife's favorite snuffs have quickly become SG Otterhound and SG After Glow. Iwan Ries must be doing something right. Family owned and operated in the Loop for 150 years. Must be rough with the new smoking laws and being on the second floor. Neat old decor but hard to see in the couple photos we took. Didn't take a picture but they even have some of those old wood phonebooths built into the wall... haven't seen those since the 70's. I wouldn't go downtown just for snuff at Iwan Ries but if you're in the city already you'd be a fool not to go. They did have some Wilson's and Gawith Hoggarth also.
@sprangalang- I've gotten W.E. Garret at the local wal-mart in McHenry. How about the size of that humidor in Lakemoor (I think it's a lakemoor address). I've heard from a couple sources that they do lingerie shows downstairs there. Explains the times I've driven by and the whole parking lot is full.
