As Alex has created such a successful forum and we are attracting so many new members; would it not be a good idea to have an “introduce yourself” sticky?

This might also be interesting: Faces of Snuffhouse Members (added by Alex)

    Hello!

I'm Nico Guevara from Costa Rica. I'm the only latin american snuffer here... at least I think so.

I'm 25 years old and work in the IT field: Internetworking, website hosting, server colocation, voice over IP, tech support, structured cabling, etc. I'm also an electronic musician, my latest album can be directly downloaded here (feel free too if you're curious :) ) http://noisnois.com/download/albumes/nn003/nn003_Samorost_Entropy_full_release.zip

I've been using snuff for about 9 months now, as a replacement for smoking tobacco. Though lately, as of the last couple of months, I've gone back to rolling my own cigarettes and snuffing occasionally.

    I'm a member of Snuffhouse.org since October 2007 - actually, today's my six-month birthday!

I can be found at www.myspace.com/samorostproject and shiva731@hotmail.com on MSN.

    Peace!

    Hello!

    My name is Michael Pfeiffer.

    I am a member of Snuffhouse.org since 6 days.

I am 27 years old and live in Neuhausen auf den Fildern, a municipality in the district of Esslingen, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Neuhausen is located 15 km southeast of Stuttgart.

I work as a Rechtsreferendar (trainee solicitor).

I am a new "snuffer". I started about one month ago. Before that I occasionally smoked pipes and cigars. But my main pleasure was always to smell the scent of the cigars and the pipe tobacco. So I thought I should give snuff a try. And up to now I did not repent it ;-).

    Hello,

As I'm new here I might as well introduce myself: I live in Belgium, 50 years, married to a Dutch girl (who uses snuff herself sometimes), I'm a military dog trainer/handler, been using snuff for 30+ years and still loving it. Other hobbies besides snuff: country music, cats (siamese and Abyssinian), my Mac.

I really enjoy reading the information on this and other forums, I sure hope that snuff will be around for a long time as our government is doing it's upmost best to ban all tobacco products. It's not a good sign if a snuff company like Bernards closes shop, I really like(d) there schmalzlers. I have a little snuff web site, mostly links to the best snuff related sites en the snuffs I have tried. http://users.telenet.be/snuff/

    Have a nice weekend!

I am Alex from Limburg > Hessen > Germany. Besides running this forum I have a website about absinthe and a community on wine. Sounds like I might be a drug addict, what is not the case as far as I can judge. Might be an Internet addict...

    Make this a sticky now.

@ samorost: Downloading your music. Let's see...

@ Sw4n: You might want to link your forum for Italian snuffer.

Stefan, 23 from Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. Been snuffing for about 2 years now. I love snuff, (obviously!), learning to play my guitar, playing my harmonica, reading trashy horror and fantasy books and learning languages, also Chess and Go. Love my music, if its anything camp, cheesy or downright shite chances are I have it lol, also love Madchester/Baggy music (Stone Roses, The Smiths, New Order, James etc.), plus a hell of a lot more.

Cześć, I'm Maciej from Poland. Like most guys from central Europe I'm quite young - 20 years old. I've been using and collecting snuff since may 2005. On Snuffhouse from 30 December 2006 and it's a pleasure to be here.
I study journalism and social communication - first year.
My other hobby is writing poems. Some friend call me the second Petrarca, because most of my poems are sonnets.
I listen to rock music, especially Brit-pop. My favorite bands are Coldplay (UK) and Myslovitz (Poland).

Big D (as in Daryl) here,

I'm a bluesman in portland, Oregon. I've been enjoying snuff for almost four years. Smoking's getting impossible to do without people really taking offense and making me feel like a criminal. I could smoke cigars, pipes and chew, any tobacco product is fair game for me, but people around here and my wife really get offended at such things. Although I gotta say there is more chew in the local 7-11's and gas station than I've seen in a lot of places. Chew - It's like the dirty little secret around here no one wants to talk about but they will certain tell what they think about smoking. I think it's the logging industry. Everyone of those guys I see is sporting a huge wad-o-chaw. Sorry for the rant...

I LOVE snuff. Cannot get enough. I like the american stuff, german stuff, it's all good. Haven't had a snuff I didn't like.

The one's I'm currently diggin are: Gawith Cola, Poschl's rasberry and cherry, silverstone orange and G. Prize. - all poschl products actually except for some ancient but still decent levi scotch. I need some new stuff. Anyone wanna trade? I can't buy online. My wife will see the charges and inquire. I can buy from my local shops but all they have is what I've listeed above. They might have some new stuff since I stocked up last...

Powder to the people....snuff that is...

    BIG D

Hey Daryl, did you see my post on another discussion about Lil' Brown Smoke Shack being fairly close to you? Have you thought about just picking up a prepaid visa gift card and ordering that way? You can find those visa's at most bigger supermarkets, walmart, k-mart and some gas stations.

And like where you are, chew/dip is extremely popular in my area of CA. But its not really a "dirty little secret" around here. Everyone knows its going on and has accepted it. Every gas station and supermarket are loaded to the gills with various types of chew & dip.

    Good day,

My name is Neal and I'm from Seattle, Wa. I have been partaking of the genteel nasal boon for about a month now. I've always wanted to try it, but I never knew it still was available until I stumbled upon some while visiting a local tobacco proprietor. I'm currently employed as a Youth Counselor, but my fields of study are religion, history, and social theory. I'm very interested in comparative religion, community building, Freemasonry, history, writing, adventuring, and industrial music. My favorite snuffs are Bestoke Gin & Tonic and Wilson's Royal George. I currently smoke about a quarter pack a day and am working on fully transitioning over to snuff, in the hopes that I may thereby be the better enabled to enjoy its delicacies to the maximum. I am glad to be a part of this forum.

    Hello all,

I'm Ryan Long, and I'm a reporter in Wrangell, Alaska. I'm 22 years old and have been snuffing for around 3 years now. Big fan of the dry and strong snuffs.

I also go about taking photographs. That started as a job responsibility but it turns out that I like doing it and am, actually, pretty good at it. I post most of my stuff on my blog (atlasofalaska.livejournal.com) and my other stuff on DeviantArt (thelong.deviantart.com)

That's about it really. Been posting here for almost a year now?

Troutstroker, I like the way you think.

Pre-paid visa...right. Don't know why I did think of that. I did check out the little brown smoke shack. Not close enough to drive to but with a pre-paid visa I could get the order going. Maybe if I speak to them about it they will agree to having nothing tobacco-related on the return label. Clandestine and silly as it all may seem, my wife's a nurse and would have what I believe the correct medical term to be a "grand mal kanipshin fit" if she knew I was snuffin. Nothin that a couple of days in the dog house wouldn't fix. In fact, the dog house is where I keep my snuff, porn, and the rest of my vices, so everybody's happy...","

    Big D,

Thats the great thing about Lil Brown. Its part of their policy to ship packages out in discreet brown boxes. The only thing on the outside of box is your address and theirs. They don't even put the company name on the box, just the address. And it comes by UPS. Not the biggest selection of snuff but they have some of the harder to find American snuffs and pretty cheap on Poschl. Also nice selection of other tobacco's like the great tasting Stoker's loose leaf chew.

I would think your wife would rather you go to snuff than continue to smoke especially being a nurse as snuff is the safest form of tobacco.
