Redwood City averages 20 inches of rainfall per year, and has an average high temperature of 77° from April through September, and 63° from October through March, with over 160 sunny days per year........Sounds better than the UK!! Nice :)

    Hello, new member here.
I have been smoking pipes for a couple of years now. Due to the rules of my current residence I am not allowed to smoke indoors and have no desire to go out into freezing weather to enjoy a pipe. This led me to try out snuff which thus far I have thoroughly enjoyed. I have only tried around four blends and look forward to experiencing many more.

    Howdy All,
New to snuff but been smoking cigars off/on for about 15 years. Never did take up cigarettes but always loved the smell of tobacco. This is what brought me to collecting all types of tobacco. Staring at that little can of snuff I decided to open it one day "CCarhart Sweet Scotch",blew my head off !! But I'm still at it. I live in Acworth,Ga 49 years old and manage the Clinical Engineering dept at a Children's hospital here. Have mostly American snuff but have a few German,India etc. I have learned a lot from this site and look forward to growing from all of your inputs.
    Good Day for Now,Roy...

Hello, my name is Alexander. I am 23 and live in Ohio. I started smoking fine cigars in college, once-in-awhile, and a year ago, I took up the pipe. I do not smoke inside because I have a lot of freakishly expensive optical equipment that tobacco smoke would potentially ruin. I just recently started snuffing, and I rather enjoy this hobby.

    As for my other hobbies:

    Fencing epee
    Medium format film photography
    Coin/Stamp collecting
    Traveling/Adventures
    Reading
    Cinema
    Camping/Fishing
    Rifle shooting
    Fine Beer/Wine/Cigars/Pipes (pipe tobaccos)
    Fountain Pens (especially Pelikans)
    Vinyl Records

hiya mate. I’m on a little island called the Isle of Wight – South Coast UK. I’m also into computers, dirtbikes and motorbikes in general. My last bike was a Yamaha 600 TTRE, with full overland specification. I did plan on doing a round-the-world trip but, it’s on hold after my bankruptcy.

Hello everybody. My name is Aj I am a 26 year old Network Technician in Middle of Nowhere Missouri. I smoked cigarettes since I was a child and recently quit with the discovery of Scandinavian Snus. After reading on other forums that a good portion of snus users also use nasal snuff I started lurking around here. I began using nasal snuff a few months ago when I broke down and ordered some Toque Whiskey and Honey, and Vanilla then liked it so much that now I have a small collection going. So now I proudly use snus and snuff. I absolutely love snuff because it gives me a quicker nicotine kick that easily replaces a cigarette while waiting for the snus to do it's thing. My favorite snuff is Toque's Berwick Brown. I absolutely adore this snuff. My hobbies are really boring... Playing video games, coffee, juggling, yo-yoing and now snuff, and snus.

    That was in April 2008

    Marek Bot (Czech Republic)
Currently secondary school student (this is going to change soon)
    Snuff taker for 9 months

    My hobbies:
    --------------
    + Acrobacy, juggling, parkour
+ Music (Me without you, Bonobo, Radiohead, David Bowie, Trost, Asian Dub Foundation, Manowar, ...)
+ Mathematics and logic (just discovered a beutiful game - Go), Literature
+ and many others I would like to have more time for, but I do not (caving, comics,...)

I didn't mention the snuff taking, but that is obvious, isn't it?

...and now it is like this:
My name is still Marek Bot and I still live in Czech Republic (now in Prague).
I have been studying chemistry for 1,5 year.
Snuff taker for 2,5 years (almost).

    My hobbies:
+ I have no more time for acrobacy and parkour, but I still occassionally juggle. I took up a new activity: kick biking. It has become my primary way of transport around Prague.
+ My taste in music didn't change over the time.
+ Sometimes I success in persuading my friends to learn Go, so I have someone to play against, but that doesn't happen often. I have started reading fiction books again, as I had been reading only scientific books for a few months. I have just finished The City & the City by China Miéville.

As a long-time tea lover I started working at tearoom&teashop Bílý Jeřáb (White Crane) in Prague. Not only I found there the best teas availiable in Prague but a great bunch of friends who happen to be me colleagues. I also found my beatiful girlfriend amongst them who is the most optimistic and realistic (in the same time) person I have ever met.

I limited snuff taking for some time but never really stopped. Now I am on 0.5g per day as I am finishing (slowly) my stocks I made back in 2008.

The reason I "reintroduced" myself is that I felt some kind of nostalgia for this forum and I hope I will find the same warm and friendly atmosphere I remember once was here.

    Hello Xsys!

I'm not familiar with the term 'kick biking' . Is that like a scooter of sorts? Just curious.

Some beautiful scenery in the background with that bike photo. Wish I could tour Europe again. I live in the culturally depressed, industrial city of Dallas, Texas. Although we do have some bronze cow statues downtown near city hall.

@Spyro: Although Prague is really a nice capital, you stop seeing all the beauty around you after some time. Prague has its own problems as every city in the world. There is pretty lot of them... for example it is quite dirty and center is flooded with cheap casinos and bars... If I have some time, I'll try to make some photos to give you a better image of Prague as seen by its citizens.

Greetings all. Tony from Columbus Ohio. I love all things tobacco. I recently took up pipe smoking again after a 30 year hiatus, and when I was placing my latest order from 4noggins I got a wild hair up my but and added a few snuffs. I love all things tobacco and remember using American scotch snuffs some 25 or so years ago. I really liked them then and have no idea why they faded away, but here's to rediscovery and new discoveries.

@xsys - I understand. I only want to visit. Every place has its downsides. We sacrifice history and culture here for some very nice modern conveniences. Almost any store or facility is up to date and within my reach. Just sometimes I long for a nice rustic old place to gaze upon.

And welcome to all of you new guys. Enjoy your snuff and I hope you like the forum, one of the best in the world.

Hey all! I am a college student from Missouri that got into snuff so my cig packs would last longer, inadvertently I found myself enjoying snuff more than the cigarettes! I used to smoke a pack a day and now I am pushing it if I have four! I still have a long way to go before I quit totally (I have been gradually reducing the number of cigs in a day) but the snuff and snus have been helping a great deal. I just wanted to say hi from the home of the Mizzou Tigers!

HI! mgzinia here. started snuffin, and snussin awhile back cause smoking was taking its toll on me, and there are really some delicious products that werent around when I was younger.I make my own cigarettes partially to save money and partially because I like real turkish tobacco ,which despite what camel claims ,you really cant get in a premade cig.Am really impressed with some of the fruitier blends that I hadnt seen years before when I first looked into this. One thing I will tell ya is that I quit using narcotics when they ceased to be fun, quit alcohol for the same reason, and as long as tobacco keeps being fun, I will be a fan, but not one minute longer so if you see me posting on here, you know I am having fun!

Hello! I am the dunce on the stool in the corner with the cone on his head. It is quite comfortable here and the overlooking view is outstanding. The walls of the corner refract sound quite nicely accentuating the wailings of all. Although lacking direct attention I can see the subliminal influence of my echoed barking. The cone is very influential in centering my posture. I believe it works to focus the zenith with it's delicate tingling. I owe my position to the lack of sheep like behavior but dog I am not. Black sheep neither. It would all be so much easier if logic could apply.
