Just a little update to add some new pics. I'm still not done adding on, but it's almost where I want it to be. I've got my eye on a new stock for it. As soon as I have the extra $$$, I'm going to spring for it.

That scope is a 6-18X40mm BSA 'Sweet 223' with trajectory compensator for 100-400 yards. I wanted a nice, long range scope that was fairly affordable. I'm sure I'll get another scope for it eventually for short to mid range.

Hmmm,this is a assault rifle afterall,if you liek long range you could have gotten a Dragunov,nice semi-automatic,a decent weapon. ;)

It's very difficult to get a license for a firearm here in Belgium, but you can get almost anything if you know where to look for it. Belgium is a paradise for illegal activities. I wouldn't apply for a license anyway as I get to fire lots of ammo and even get payed for it ;-)

Assault rifle, yes. While not the ideal sniper rifle, ARs are still decent at longer ranges. I was looking for a decent in between gun and something I could get a little creative with and decided on the AR. I doubt it's the last rifle I'll purchase and the Dragunov is certainly worthy of my consideration.

My favorite toy, the Russian SKS, reliable, accurate & indestructible and the ammo is cheap . Not a long range gun but I can shoot the same hole at 100 yards & 1 inch groups at 200 yards. I leave the long shots for my .308 Remington.
