    Hello all, I enjoy the discussions I have read. Obviously new to the worl of snuff so the typical questions I will try to dance around. I would like any suggestions on non mentholated snuff, I have only tried Gawith apricot. I am interested in a heavier metal snuffbox that can take the abuse without accidental spillage in the pocket of a police officer. I have enjoyed dipping moist smokeless tobacco for years but gave it up due to the fact that I just don't enjoy it anymore, I only used it for the last five years out of habit. I would also like to know if anyone knows if you can or should dip nasal snuff and what would be a good variety to try this as I still enjoy the taste of tobacco. I like smoking finer cigars, but really enjoy chewing on one for about an hour before I light it. Thank you and great forum

    I also forgot to ask what is an autobox, is it similar to a bullet?

    Hello snuffincop, The Fribourg & Treyer snuffs do not have menthol. The American dry snuffs such as Rooster, WE Garrett, Navy etc. do not have menthol and these American snuffs can be used both in the nose and oral. But these are the only ones I would suggest doing this with. Wilsons snuffs such as Tom Buck, Vanilla, Royal George etc do not have menthol. There is usually a description with these if you buy online. All the Toque Snuffs except for obviously the menthol are all menthol free.

    As far as a box, where exactly do you live so I can give you some places to check out. And the automatic box is different than the bullet. It actually catapults the snuff up the nose. The bullet you still have to sniff it out of the top.

    Alright snuffincop, I live in Northern California. But I have a lot of family back in Missouri. My Dad who is a retired LA County Sheriff lives pretty close to you in Ava Missouri along with my stepmom & 3 of my brothers. One of my brothers lives in Springfield, just recently bought a house. He's attending Drury University & will probably follow my dads steps & get into law enforcement. Also have some family in Marshfield, Mansfield & Seymour. I try to get back there about once a year. Always make a trip over to Bass Pro Shops. ;~). I know that snuff is sparse there as I have looked when back there. They used to carry a lot of it but has seemed to diminish. I did find some in Branson on the way home from Silver Dollar City. Check the small ma & pa stores, liquor stores, gas stations etc. around your area. Also look in any smoke shop that sells like pipe tobacco, cigars etc. They will often have a few on hand. Usually either Poschl, Wilsons or McChrystals and occasionally Dean Swift.

    Now as far as snuff, the absolute best place to buy is Mars Cigars. They have great selection, great prices and ship really fast. If you look under accessories, they have a couple boxes. Also I would recommend Toque Snuff. Just click on buy to see all the great flavors. They ship worldwide for free. Orders take around 6-8 days to arrive.     The best place to get the snuff box you want is to look on EBAY search under "snuff box" . Also as someone else mentioned, the boxes that onefortheroad makes. You can find some other nice boxes from a German store Rajek's House of Smoke look under snuff accessories. You can also search local stores for pill boxes. There are some pill boxes that make great snuff boxes. But a lot of snuffs do come in their own metal tin similar style to a can of Cope or Skoal.

    For snuffboxes there is also www.walshbrothers.co.uk. Walsh brothers are a silver smiths in southern England. They sell a silver snuff box which is fantastic, buta trifle expensive at just under £50. I got one and its excellent
