Waiting on some McCrystals Stammheimer Hopfen Schnupf. Just ordered today.

My Toque Vanilla and Toffee arrived the other day. I think vanilla might become a new all-day snuff. After they air out a bit I'll be able to render a more accurate verdict.

I received my somewhat large order of mainly toque yesterday.

A word of warning. padded envelopes and toque tins don't mix. The tins are made of a very soft metal and not a single one of them looked "normal" when I opened the envelope - with a very unfortunate spillage in the envelope from most of the tins as a result.

There has been a bit of "cross contamination", but it's not too bad. I don't mind Vanilla-Blueberry - it works.

@ slartie- sorry to hear about your toque order. I got 4 tins last week and they arrived in perfect order. Were your tins each in their own plastic bag? I was wondering why they were packed like this but now I see it may be to avoid the cross contamination thing in the event of tins opening themselves in transit.
  3.  # 126
Slartie, you should let the vendor know.

I'm anticipating some new to snuffs, Taxi Red and Ntsu.

My order was all in one big padded envelope. I may have set myself up for disaster by ordering so many tins at one time. Perhaps the postal services saw it as a hackey sack.

I recently got a toffee tin that was fine. Though the peanutbutter tin I ordered before that got smushed. :(

I'm just hoping that Roderick is successful in getting his snuff into my LDT! That would save a lot of potential problems, though it would probably mean me spending more on them..... ;-)

I'm sure Slartie won't mind my repeating my earlier comments which I said as soon as I heard of his problem. I don't know who Slartie bought his Toque from, we are very familiar with packing our Tins but other snuff shops have their own methods of packing. Even so, we will always replace postal damage even if it hasn't been posted by us.
    "Hi Slartie,
Sorry to read of your trouble. If you let me know which tins were damaged I will send replacements. I will also send a little extra to cover the cost of you sending back the empty (Please keep the snuff) tins so that we can return them to the tin manufacturer.
We were particularly pleased with our new tins, we loved the lines and the modern feel, particularly the screw lids, yet now we are hearing that the alloy is too soft, that they dent easily and the screw thread slips. As we have ordered these in their thousands it is of great concern and needs to be fixed very quickly.
Thanks again Slartie for all the nice comments regarding our snuff; it would be such a shame to have a great product let down by poor quality tins.
    Roderick"

Just picked up my latest pile of Snuff Store goodies from the local post office depot (managed to miss the postie yesterday....).

    Bespoke Tobacco Real Coffee Snuff
    Stammheimer Hopfen Schnupf McChrystals
    Smokers Blend Snuff (S'nuff)
    Wilsons Irish High Toast No.22

Must say I am most impressed with the IHT, which decided to try based on comments made both here and on the mailing list. Definitely not disappointed with that one. The others are good too though the S'nuff is nothing out of the ordinary. It will make a fine all day snuff though (if I wasn't so keen on the various other SPs!).

Looking forward to taking the Hofpen Schnupf with me to the pub tonight to see what others make of it.

    - Tony

I just received my order! I've been scouring the metro area around me to find new snuffs, and my quality order finally came in. So far I tried the Bespoke Gin & Tonic, followed by the Toque Chocolate. The G & T seemed like the scent was kind of mild (but I did smoke earlier today, so maybe that's it), but you guys were right about the nicotine; I actually feel a decent sense of satisfaction from it. The chocolate is nice but seemed to fade kind of fast. I'll just have to try again ;)

I also got some Wilsons Irish Coffee, Taxi Blue, SG Kendal Brown, Wilsons Best SP, and a snuff bullet. I'm excited to try them all. Snuffstore is awesome.

    I received yesterday:

    1x F&T Princes
    1x Wilsons Brunswick
    1x G&H Western Glory
    1x Hedges L260

Western Glory is weird to say the least, it tastes like camphor, gin and camomile tea altogether. Nice in a strange sort of way.

I can't help it, another huge order of Bernards snuff just arrived, I fear the day it will be all gone, should last me until the end of the year I hope.

    Aecht Altbayrischer Schmalzler
    Brasil doppelt fermentiert
    Brasil Feinst
    Brasil Fresco
    Klostermischung

Besides schmalzlers the only snuffs I have left in my cabinet are some almost empty tins of F&T, rooster, honey bee and bruton. Next order propably will be some wilsons and toque snuffs.

I sam desperately waiting for these snuffs. There will be, in all probability, a postal strike in Germany starting from Thursday. I hope the snuffs will arrive tomorrow or on Wednesday.

Just incase you didn't know the easiest way to convert currency is to use google. All you have to do is type something like this in the search bar:

    22 GBP in USD

and it will give you an answer right away without having to go to another website. Try it out!
