I have a co-worker who brought some white snuff to work, he says he got while in germany. The bottle is glass and has no name, he can't remember one. This snuff was very potent and smooth, I would love to get my hands on some of my own, my co-worker refuses to share anymore. So i was hoping a post here might yield some names of a german white snuff. Thank You in advance
wow, those replies were really fast, ty. I am guessing it was probably that naseweis. The bottle looks the same, although there was no lable so i'll never be sure. I do have a place to start lookin to get my own. =)
I have a bottle of white snuff. It's called Poschl's Erfrischungs- Prise. It also has "Schneebera" on the label. The bottle hold 10g. It's also mentholated.
As far as I'm aware they are all called "nose candy" as they are made from sugar and contain no nicotine. Does anyone know of one that contains nicotine?
Alex- does that go for the Frederick Tranter white snuff also? (picked some up recently) Are all the white snuffs super mentholated? In both cases yes, I guess.
Polar Beard was a white snuff that didn't contain nicotine and it wasn't sugar based. It's no longer on the market. "All you’ll find in the powder is “caffeine crystals, kava kava, red kirin, ginseng, oil of clove and wintergreen, natural menthol crystals.” The wintergreen and menthol really opened up everyone’s sinuses, but about half of our volunteers found the taste of Polar Bear unpleasant at the back of their throats."
