been snuffing every once in the while for 1.5years now and I'd like hear your on-line shopping experiences.

here is mine:

I started my snuff shopping from snuffstore, (snuff is totally legal in Finland but only big corporation tobacco available, not snuff and snuss is totally banned by result of big tobacco corporation lobbyists, same shit with chewing tobacco). so Finland is bad place to stimulate nicotine receptors!
thank you internet that I found snuffstore! shipments usually comes fast, 7-14days and most likely because of EU no customs harassment. they easily do that even they really do not have right to (we are so close to Russia, some homeopatic effect propably) snuffstores Julia & Tim seems to be so nice people but their stock varies heavily!
then Toque. fast and efficient! I'm not sure is it my nose of Toques snuff but I start to like it too much! it's so fresh . . starting to drool like mindless when I think that beautiful moment when my last shipment arrived. Roderick you are a wizard! lime toast, lavender, quit, spanish gem . . I wish I had bigger nose! It is so handy to order snuff straight from manufacturer! nicotiana rustica was nice too, good to have some tobacco in it's natural form nad make some experiments. I made some nice handmade clove snuf and chewing tobacco. you can't get tobacco like that from Finland.
just recently I tried to make snuff order from mr.Snuff with my friend. I had a strange feeling about that from the very beginning but we tried it. then I got email from there and they asked for.. "we need to have a copy of the card, front and back to confirm ownership.
I apologize for the hassle but this is a Visa requirement." I wrote back and asked what the heck is that all about, sounds so medieval and then I noticed that I even didn't know from where this mr.Snuff operates. asked info about it but never got any! so I got a feeling about mr.Snuff and my feeling was a correct one. first and last try with you mr.Snuff!

(edit: sorry again all you and specially Mr.Snuff, we had some difficulties at the beginning but just got my shipment and looking forward to have most pleasant future with you Mr.Snuff! and I think I should change my "nick" to big baby :))

I would also like to order some snuss, but swedish on-line stores put double tax on a product even it's illegal in EU. (I can smell big corporation lobby there). but well I'm not addicted still on nicotine but looking forward to order some more from snufstore . . .pöschl and WoS and something to chew on. .

I degenerate into a child who is in the candy store when ever I make these snuff orders! I don't use much snuff (but that fresh Toque snuff seems strangely disappearing somewhere and fast!) I think I have about 60-70 tins in my "collection" and it's growing stadily. . .

tell me about your experiences! I want to have the wisdom of Snuff!

I order from Wilsons of Sharrow and Toque, they're great in every respect; quality&quantity of products, service and value. Of course I also prefer their snuffs. Nothing against online stores, I used them in the past but variety on high street shops here has improved and it is simply great just buy some snuff, go for a pint and share some.

@nuusku: sorry about your experience with us.

Unfortunately when a credit card is used that has a completely different name and billing address on it, it is flagged for further processing. This is because of the prevalence of credit card fraud on the internet. We have been ripped off like this on several occasions. Apart from the loss, and the work involved to rectify the situation, it also impacts our rating with the credit card companies. Last year we lost only a few hundred dollars to fraud, but the year before it ran into the thousands. As a small company we cannot afford this. I am sure you will understand if I am a little gun shy.

Requesting a scan of a card is standard Credit Card Company policy because it proves possession of the card. Often an ID is also asked for in case the card was physically stolen rather than just the number.

The fact that you have made the effort to post here does give me confidence. If you would like me to process your order then I will do so. If not, I will go ahead and cancel.

I apologize for the hassle. I can assure you we are a reputable company, so you have nothing to fear in that regard.

I also had some issues with credit card online payments in general last year due change of address and phone number, but it was sorted out very quickly. Didn't take it as nuisance but customer service.

never had a problem with mr snuff besides the invisible free spoons. Which are easy to lose.

@mr.snuff yes I understand that there is some serious precaution needed in credit card business, but that that there wasn't even reply to my e-mail made me thinking. compared to Toque or Snuffstore I just got bad impression. in Finland credit card is not very common thing to have and I have made all my previous snuff orders by using my friends credit card, naturally with permission to use it :)
waiting for the day when I'm able to pay my orders by on-line bank, we are in EU so that shouldn't be that difficult? is there any other options for payment than making those credit card companies richer?

Dude I pretty much only order from Mr. Snuff and Toque. Mr. Snuff has the best selection and awesome customer service. Either way, I don't see what scanning the card and emailing it to the company you're buying something from is all that bad. Especially one that is as reputable as Mr. Snuff.

Mr Snuff Reputable?! I don't know about that. He keeps tons of choices in stock, he ships it out quickly, he KNOWS that I'm hooked, he keeps accepting my money and sending me snuff.
Oh yeah, that's just GOOD business, not trying to do me in.

You ran into an issue due to a conflict with your biling/shipping address. Nearly all of us have used Mr. Snuff with great results.

I don't know man, try to be more objective when you think about what actually occurred before throwing out accusations. I hope you do use Mr. Snuffs site and let us know what you think. He really has a great selection and I think you'll be quite pleased.

@JohnnyFriday that's a good one, thanks mate! actually it is quite insane, isn't it? I consider myself as a relatively "rational" person, but what comes to the snuffing I tend to get very emotional :) sorry for that! why it is like that? why I have all this snuff and still want more? is nowadays so hard to find this kind of quality stuff that I transform into a primordial hamster who collects it all? and I'm not even hooked on nicotine!

Given the variety of online stores, today, I do not deal with any nonsense or hassles - regardless of the products being sold(snuff, paintball equipment, misc...). If they are the only ones that sell a certain product - than you are forced to jump through the hoops. Otherwise, you can just find yourself another store that is easier for you to deal with. Luckily, in regards to snuff, my experiences have always ended pleasantly :D!

The thing that I admire the most about Mr.snuff is that you can trust them to be honest. If you are having trouble with an order they will do whatever they can to help you out with it. The shipping is fast (last order took a week to get here where I am in Oklahoma), massive selection, not to mention the great deals they have. I would reccomend mrsnuff to anyone.

Yep, Mr. Snuff hustles hard. By that i mean excelent customer service, he will bent over backward to get you a product(even if he stands to make little to no money, or if its a tremendous pain in the but), ships as fast as possible, and is very avaible for questions and comments.

Roderick at Toque is awesome. I had an issue with their processor (with my card), and he fixed it right away. Mr. Snuff is just fast. About one week from order to delivery with no issues.

I generally order Wilson's of Sharrow snuff direct from Wilson's, and pretty much everything else from Mr Snuff. Customer service at both Wilson's and MrSnuff is excellent. Ordering direct from Toque is also fast and efficient, and I have had good ordering experiences from SnuffStore too. We are lucky in the UK, I think.
