I think the best approach would be as with food, something fairly plain. I mean you probably wouldn't want some fancy meal every single day, you would be better with bread and steak or something. So my snuff would be either Quit or a plain toast

WoS Crumbs of comfort. I like all different kinds of snuffs but rather than just being only a flavour, Crumbs of comfort is a sensation aswell as the spearmint flavour, and if I'm stuck on an island and the sun's out that'll freshen my airways :) BTW, slightly off-topic here but is WoS Irish toast, F&T High dry toast and Toque Natural toast all the same flavour or is it just me?

@Theatre - They all describe the same type of very light, dry, toasted snuff. The names go back a couple of hundred years and there would have been regional differences, but nowadays the titles are academic. They all have slight differences in character due to them being made by different companies - but Irish, HDT, Scotch etc etc are all variants on a theme. Scotch, by the way, is a distortion of 'scorched'.

Today my vote would be O&G. Ask me any other day and my vote could be Bruton, Rooster, Cheese and Bacon, Whisky and Honey, lime toast, iht 22 etc etc ad infinitum.

I absolutely and strongly dislike these type of threads, I refuse to stoop so low as to have to imagine the level of deprivation necessary to play this game, And my many years of serious TAD renders this a moot point in many ways.. But if I had to imagine a giant dumpster load of snuff being dumped on me, cstokes style, it would have to be something wonderful, lovely nicotine, wonderful silky nose feel, a base tobacco to die for (buried alive), Alas, I have just too many candidates to choose from, and the thought of being forced to choose is beyond cruel and unusual. I remain addicted to the many, and adverse to the few.

I found that a 50%-50% mix of Super Chetak and either Swastik or D Sparrow Cool (they are almost the exact same snuff) is the mix that I never get tired of. A very satisfiying nic content, a slight menthol to keep the nose clear and free from extra dryness, and a good blend of spices to keep the magic going. That is the perfect all-rounded snuff to me.

I LOVE so many kinds, have SEVERAL Mason Jars I fill my boxes from, but I'd say either:
Toque Quit
WoS GOLD LABEL OR Grand Cairo
or F&T High Dry Toast.

either one of those I could stick with. PROBABLY Quit however, just because there's not much scent to "lose or get used to" and plenty of Nic to make sure I continue to be satisfied. However, currently the one I pinch the most is Gold Label.

camphor and mild seems like a good all the time snuff. Not my favorite by any stretch but more then completely tolerable and I can't see anyway it would cease to be.
