"Even the Poschls from Germany have the warning. The ones I get from Rajek's have the warning in German. Most of the German Poschl labels are hideous with big white background & bold black letters & takes up almost the whole back of container."

Poschl sent me a few samples of their Ozona Cherry. Guess which of the two tins below is one that they sent.

The hideous black and white warnings are required under E.U ,(boo! spit! boo!), law. Thats why when you buy baccy in any EUSSR country you have the usual warnings on but in the local language.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I wanted to comment on the label designs murdoc69 and Satyr came up with. I like the classic look they have much better than the standard Toque logo. The current tin reminds me of auto parts, and I have expect to see a stack of gaskets or anti seize compound when I open the tin :^D

The art deco font, and mellow yellow go better with snuff imo. I think the rectangular tin is nice also, and I would put the warning sticker on the back where it wouldn't ruin the label. The current logo is ok for the bullets since they're a more modern design, but I'd like to see a more retro design for the tins.

To be honest, I hate the Toque tins as the screw off lids can be a real pain in opening and twisting back on.

I have also noticed that the can gets this aluminum looking residue that gets all over my fingers and i have to then sit the can down carefully, clean my hands then use the snuff, which i love, and then fight with the tin to get the lid on straight.

I would rather have a standard Tongue and Groove seal instead of twist off can.

This thread got started a long time ago but...if Roderick is talking about 1oz tins like F&T tins that would be a great additional option to the bulk bags. I think alot of snuffers like old-time looking things and I personally wouldn't ever use a snuff bullet. Too much like drug (or drugstore) paraphernalia to me. I like pinching from a tin.

I think the screw-on lids on the new tins sound like a great idea. I'm looking forwards to trying them. But the aluminum residue Grim mentions is definitely a disaster waiting to happen. Aluminum is very bad for health and nobody should be snuffing it. I hope this is fixed or maybe I should buy the bags and just skip the tins.
