Yesterday I received my Mr. Snuff order. Took exactly one month of shipping, not bad. I had almost given up on it, so I was quite stoked when I saw the padded envelope with a customs stamp. Brought the Apricot to class and let my friend try it. He immediately became obsessed with it and even more dissatisfied with his scotch. I told him not to give up on the scotch though, any snuff is a good snuff!

I think I will. I had the idea yesterday and it's turned into a recipe in my snuff brain, which is the ancillary organ that snuff users have, often without being aware of it. There has to be something behind a desire to poke dust up your nose.

It's definitely going to happen. I've gone as far as I can with the Abraxas types, the next has to be very different or me and the people who buy my snuffs will just get bored. So, an SP it will be, and its going to have chilli in it in some way shape or form

@snuffster, Someone sabotaged the free snuff on the bar of a pub near me by filling the box up with chilli powder, a few months ago. I'm starting to think it might be you :-O :))

I do a blend from time to time with herbs and spices along the line your are thinking, but no chilli. It's called SnuffHead's Bradford Snuff

Snuffster, do you mean like how a fresh serrano smells right after you cut it? That would be cool, but is it possible? At least you could make a juice/extract from mild bell peppers and pour it into the flour- you could get some of the aroma at least. If using actual chilis you might cause tissue damage in the mucos membranes- especially if one leaves it in for more than a moment. Whenever I hear certain ideas I wonder about them being both viable and safe, also if whoever is at all serious. I'd personally like to find out a ratio/concentration of ginger or galangal oils that could work without causing damaging effects. I plan to complete my collection of essential oils sufficiently to develop a nice formula or two that I've been trying to visualize (I've been experimenting with quality oils since my teens). Maybe If I come up with something I could mail you a dram of the ess. oil mixture and see what you think? Would easier maybe than to mail snuff itself, and I don't have much experience scenting snuffs, so... food for thought?

Nice @luxaorta, the 6 Photo, Fubar, or Dholakia should all be fine enough for the bullet- as long as you don't mind small doses. From my local Wal-Mart(evil place that it is)- (24) 4oz and 12 quart mason jars. These are for decanting my recent order, as well as some i have yet to. The quart are for snuff still in the tins, the jelly jars for decanting. For less than $30, my snuff sould keep indefinetly.

@Mr.O - I have a couple of different ideas in mind which will get bench tested, one thing I won't be doing is just dumping some chilli powder in there, we could all do that. I work in a strange kind of way; I get the concept and sort of reverse engineer it. The snuffs I intend to make next are SP's and toasts, or my variants on them - no point copying Wilsons Best SP or whatever.

Not to clog up this thread, But my Patrick Collins double box has always been one side Grunt and one side Toque Whiskey and Honey, always will.
It is not so much that I approve of your choice and amounts, it is more that I feel much better knowing that I am not alone in my 'indulgences". But I always recommend "indulging" in those two! You can thank me later BTW.
