As far a influencing folks, (even if you don't like the music) Grateful Dead should be included as well, imo.

Very nice fellow and an incredible guitarist. The opening chord of "Christine" still gives me goosebumps.

Too drunk to,.... write. Kidding. I love playing the "Showroom Dummy" song by Kraftwerk on a box, then leaving, it seems as if other people in this hillbilly place don't like it. Personally I have 3 albums and like about 2 songs each, but they started the "Industrial Revolution". I like your punk choices too but I can't be as old as you? 33?

Not too bad. Explains the Kraftwerk. We're you an "O.G." of punk? As a kid I hung out with punks, but was more into the goth/industrial and rave scenes. I just didn't like the "goths" or "ravers", but punks were the coolest as, like me, they just didn't give a damn.

Here's a band you might know;

Amebix. I murdered the spelling but you get the idea. "Drink and be marry, for tomorrow you may die!" "Axeman!"

Oh yeah, I know of Amebix, but their only album I like is Monolith.
I didn't dress in punk fashion, but I was OG punk, I guess you could say.

Maybe Smashing Pumpkins meets Big Black. A good buddy of mine was roomates with the bass player for thrill kill cult. There all crack-heads. Red Pens drummer is hot! I've been flirting with her since I was 15. She doesn't look it but she's 36, she's aging like a fine wine.
