Molens A/P vs. Fribourg&Treyer Santo Domingo
  • Can not tell what I like better, can you??
  • I prefer the AP.
  • I am with you there Trymall, they are both very good snuffs. I cannot tell which is better.
  • Apples and Oranges
  • Although they are undoubtably good snuffs, Molens nearly always makes me sneeze.
    I love F&T SD wholeheartedly.
  • Yes, apples and orangutangs. I find them quite different.

I understand (I think PhilipS wrote about this) that that F&T SD is made with Paris Method (pounded and fermented in brine), and I'm guessing that A/P is not. I may very well be wrong, though.
  • Agree with toffeenose on this one. Oddly if I'am sick like I have a really nasty flu the Ap doesn't make me sneeze (more) but seems even better then menthol for clearing out fluness. If I feel o.k. it makes me sneeze my ass off.
  • This month I have been using the San Domingo only and letting the A/P rest till fall. The pine really shines for me in the moister season. A/P is a snuff for hunting season for me for sure! Both are on my top shelf all the time.

  • I agree with the seasonal aspects of both these snuffs, cold and damp air is great for these, they don't really shine for me in the summer months.
