    Hello,as a beginner I have (for now ) 2 questions..
    When the snuff hit the throat.. what to do? I tried to drink water.. it didn't help.
    What damage can it do (if at all)? I mean from the health aspect of course.

    Well, there isn't really much you can do, apart from abusing a neti pot, or waiting for the drip to come...

    Well frankly, for more or less instant relief, it seems a neti pot is the only correct answer. And hey, many of the snuffhousers swear on the darned things. Seems like there's a plan in the works to make neti pots mandatory for every snuffer by 2012.

    Seriously tho, by all accounts, it makes the life with snuff easier. Not speaking out of experience, mind you, just hearsay. Me, I'm so hardcore I started with menthols and pretty much went straight to dry scotches. Make sure you don't make the same mistake.

    Now, that you also say about the neti pot. I'll have to admit that i don't know what is it..
    In the shops here you can find only the menthols.
    I hope to get something from the internet soon.

    Also, if you have a semblance of technique down, may I suggest looking into the Toque line of snuffs? The link is right there, on the left. Generally, the concensus is that they are some mighty fine snuffs, and the postage is free.

    Hey, I've been on snuff for several months now and have perused the info on this forum, read a lot elsewhere and experimented with all the different methods, types and such. No matter what I do, most of a pinch ends up in my throat eventually, no matter what. I wish this weren't the case, but I've pretty much decided that it's just the way my particular anatomy works.

    Answer? I spit. Unfortunate and uncouth, but there it is. At the end of the day, I have bigger problems.:-)
