Hello all, I recently placed an order at pipesandcigars.com(Habana premium cigar shop)for 6 tins in 1 oz. size of various Sam Gawith snuffs.Well 13 days later (today) the package arrived,the tins were 10 gram sized not 1 oz. as advertised on their web site,ok not a real big deal I guess,ok it is a big deal,if you tell me they are 1 oz. please send 1 oz.,anyway after opening the tins I found out there all bone dry and some tins are rusted.They are a decent place to buy pipe tobacco from,but depending on how they resolve this I might not do business with them anymore,Mars is a much beter place to support,with great fresh products.

LOL,yes there burley cake with maduro frosting was also stale.

i have ordered two times from them in the last year, everything from tobacco, pipes, suppies, etc. every time i was either lied too, cheated, or sent garbage. i sent back everything they ever sent. after the second time they sent me a pipe with a broken bowl and a pipe with a fill the size of my thumb even after sending them an email asking specificaly these questions before hand. anyway, after the second time and i again having to sit and argue for 10 mins, because they wanted me to spend 8 bucks to return the stuff, i decided to try mike at mars instead, and have not bought from anyone else since. oh yeah i contacted the other US online store that sells a big selection of gawith snuffs still(its not the one that makes u buy 5 cans at a time), you may know them they sell 2oz cans of the F&T's for 9.00 bucks a shot. i asked about quality and age of the snuffs and if they had any return policys, etc. both emails i had sent them on this subject were replied too with them suggesting other online shops that i should use instead. yeah that was a first, but it must not of been the first time that issue has had to be dealt with there, i take it. atleast she was honest, i have to give her that.

It really is disturbing to know that any retailer, let alone an on-line retailer, would send out or sell anything less than the best to their customers. There is always the case that they just did not know any better, however that is extremely rare indeed.
