Yes, this is one of the never ending threads, and also a good start for introducing myself.
Just call me Hannibal. I am 42 years old and live in Bavaria, or, to be more precise, in Franconia, Germany, the wider area around Nuremberg, Bayreuth, Bamberg or Würzburg, just to mention a few cities. But no, I don't resemble the Schmalzlerfranzl. And to tell the truth, nobody I know does that, even here... So let's get back to topic. After waking up I started the day with a pinch of Gawith Apricot. It is one of my beloved early-morning-snuffs, among McChrystal's Original and Genuine, or the different Best-SP-varieties. But in the evenings I prefer Schmalzer, with their heavy, chocolate- and raisin-like scent. Especially the different Sterneckers, and the Perlesreuter Waldler-Fresko (made by Pöschl).
Have a nice day and never get out of snuff, Hannibal
Hi Hannibal, Welcome to the forum. You come from a beautiful part of the world. I was lucky enough to visit the area in the 1970’s on a school exchange and still remember the girls, the country side wasn’t bad either. Bitte entschuldigen Sie meine Unwisenheit, aber was ist 'Schmalzlerfranzl' auf English? From what you say I think you might like our Toque Chocolate, which is becoming more available in shops in Deutschland or online. Keep snuffing
Hello Roderick, "Schmalzlerfranzl" is the sign (?or logo?) of some Bernard Schmalzlers. It means the Franz who likes Schmalzler. He looks very old-fashioned, and perhaps in former times he should represent the "typical" bavarian Native. Just go to srajek's shop and have a look on the Bernard Brasil Feinst, there You will meet him. I also think that one of our members has him as his Avatar, but I don't rember who it was.
Hello and wllcome Hannibal, now at this moment I will take a big pinch of Sparrow Brand (green) from Dholakia Tobaccos..and in the next pinch a good Dry American : ROOSTER.
