I had some spanish jewel then went on too making my own out of American Spirit Organic and so far I must say its good just after toasting it and adding a little sea salt...Now it further fermenting in a mixture of pure water and Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey!! Tomorrow will be a further grinding and another toasting!
it has pretty much been just mcchrystals hops for a while now, my snuff collection has gotten very small. As soon as the new toque flavors come out it will grow a lot though.
Just back from Dumfries and relaxing with some of the freshest SG Yellow Crest you can imagine, picked up at the factory in Kendal yesterday. Lots to tell of the visit but it will have to wait until tomorrow as I'm dead on my feet right now. Suffice to say it was great!
Today I'm treating myself on my own private mix, Taxi Blue & Wilson's of Rustenburg. I don't like either of them on it's own but, as a "mix", I really enjoy it. I love a "soft" snuff. What I mean by soft is something that gradually sets it's aroma free rather than to "hit" my nose with a bang. Most of the menthol snuffs are to "hard" for me; it makes me sneeze. That's why I like something like Poschl's Apricot so much; it has a nice, soft aroma with an "undertone" of menthol which "seeps" in almost unnoticed. I also like the President snuff 'cause the menthol aroma gradually fills my nose, it does not hit my like a steam engine! For "pudding" I have with me Toque Chocolate.....Oh, so nice!!!
I'll have my tin of McChrystal's O&G with me until I'm off work.. Although I'm new to snuff, I seem to recognize more complexity in this snuff each time I sniff! Who knows what will be in my nose after work though..
nah too much stuff in my pocket so I did the responsible thing and emptied my pocket of other stuff and dumped the rest down the toilet. Though it was a sad sight and I had hum taps as I flushed the toliet.
