    Tonight I am enjoying some Basil Hayden on the rocks with some Sam Beam on the stereo and a few pinches big of the Jewel. Just found out I am going to be a father for the first time so celebrating a bit. A very good night. Cheers all.

    Nice one Bigsnoot! I remember that feeling well. Our eldest, at 27, is finally getting married at the end of next month and probably just in time as it looks like she's planning on giving us a second grandchild fairly soon....

    I've even bought myself a rather fine silver snuff box for the occasion though I haven't yet decided what will be in it on the day. Suggestions on a postcard?

    As she lives in Cornwall (and will be getting married there) and we are in Yorkshire I have a mind to call in at MaGahey's in Exeter on the way past and pick up some Cafe Royale.....

    i have some spanish jewel atm. i have the morning off from uni and today is my 1 yr anniversary wih my gf (longest ever lol. so i'm in a particularly good mood. going out to tea somewhere nice later. i opted for some nice pearl earings for a gift but shhh cause i havent given them to her yet lol.
