Here is an idea if anyone was interested.....I was just thinking how about we start an Online Snuff Chat Room!! We got a lot of members now and I think it would be neat for our members to chat in real time! Well just an option I don't know much about making one but maybe with some of the computer literate people in our forum we could pull it off...

    Just an idea
    Friends to all who snuff!!
Pinches of Square American Snuff for all!

That sounds like a great idea to me Rob, a chat room that is directly linked to this forum...sweet!

I would chat around with you guys. But the chat program would have to be compatible with a Mac computer running Safari web browser. I positively, absolutely will not run Internet Explorer. Firefox would be OK though.

For a Mac, nothing beats Safari but on a PC, Firefox kicks butt. And the best part is that its FREE.

    Hello my good friend Pedro,

Yes, Firefox will work with Windows XP. Firefox is an alternative to Internet Explorer. It is used to access the World Wide Web instead of using Explorer. You can do a search for Firefox web browser and get more information or go directly to the site Firefox

"Opera" is another nifty free browser choice, though I prefer Firefox personally (on Windows/Linux.)

Most web chat server programs are compatible with any browser. What the server is running is more of a factor in choosing (if it's hosted privately that's less of an issue.)

So far there is no sufficient extension for this forum software to integrate a chat. I remember someone wanted to start an IRC channel.

I know how to start an IRC channel. I'm on a campus that does not allow irc ports to be open though. I will probably try to get one set up on my home computer. I'll let you guys know.
