    The Kloster Andechs Spezial Snuff produced by Pöschl comes in a dark blue dispenser box containing 10g. It has a medium brown colour and is ground medium to fine. The smell is slightly sweet and contains herbs and menthol. This snuff has a medium moistness and is really refreshing. Neither the menthol nor the tobacco odour is too dominant, which makes this a well balanced product.

    I can say it is a snuff for daily use, which I have enjoyed for some time now.

    Anybody know if this is carried in the U.S.? I like the sound of the herbal flavoring.

    Chas, I've only seen it sold through German shops, most specifically Rajeks....

    I passed on it this time, I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have, it does sound pretty good....

    It is a very tasty snuff. Has a very light hint of licorice, chamomile & vanilla along with a few other mixed herbs & after a minute or two you get a hint of sarsaparilla. It is very warming & relaxing to me. The scent in the nose has a very good calming/soothing effect.

    I agree samorost, about all I can say with trouts descriptions is; yep, thats it!! I can't come close to him at putting the scents into words. Toque chocolate-well it smells like...chocolate : )

    Trout definately has a way with words when putting a description together of a snuff. I find myself often times going back to a snuff to try it again after reading Trouts description, and I'll be damned if I don't smell excactly what he has described....

    Chamomile was the main scent I got out of it. It's not an everyday but does have a nice warming effect this time of year, as does Chamomile tea. ;-)

    I like Pöschl's snuffs very much and this is one of my favorites, I like its menthol and herbs balance which is the right for me. But I still prefer McChrystal's O&G as every day snuff :)
    By the way, I am so glad that I've discovered this site, it's full of handy informations! And please excuse my English, I wasn't a good student.
