Aaaah, put it down to two weeks on duty without a day off and aching like the devil from an injury - whatever, I have over re-acted. Maybe it was one argument too many in a lousy couple of weeks. As we Brits say - I've been a bit of a prat (for the US boys that's asshole or equivelant) - not for being pissed off by Grim but for leaving as I did. The kind words affected me, especially as I genuinely thought no one would care either way, and my wife - knowing me as she does - has given me a swift slap and told me to get my act in order. Sometimes you just need to step back and look from the outside in - which I have.

I had asked Alex to delete my account but have now written and apologised and asked to stay - of course he may not choose to keep me on the forum but if you'll have me I would love to stay around.

My views on the whole issue of shils etc have not changed and I think anyone that can't control their language should be immediate history, however from now on, if I get to stay, I am not going to act like a cop. Sorry guys, too much conditioning over the years.

I have made my views clear and will abide with the consensus.

I don't think it's ridiculus to find bad language offensive. I find it offensive too, not just Snuffster. However what I do find ridiculus is a persons refusal to say 'sorry' when he is in the wrong.

Not so long ago I was attacked on this forum. I simply reported the insults without retaliating with abuse and the issue was resolved peacefully. Thats how adults should deal with their issues, in a civilised manner. Not throw around disgusting language like children in a schoolyard

It was speculation, since there seem to be an increasing number of young people lacking the common social graces that allow society to function. Who knows why some people feel the need to bristle so much at the world around them. Maybe you were treated poorly by your classmates in school as a boy. Maybe you're a vet with PTSD. In any case, you seem to have a chip on your shoulder and want others to knock it down so you can be a tough guy. Please don't bring it here.
