    Anyone know a place to get those plastic smash boxes, or something like them, other than from Mars?

    I was thinking of picking up a bulk lot of empty 35mm film canisters from ebay, but I havent looked into smash boxes, they can probably be had pretty cheap as well.

    Hey, check this link out. ebay has s lot of "vintage" aluminum screw top 35mm film cannisters. They look pretty cool.

    Not exactly small or plastic, but I though you or someone else might be interested.

    You can buy directly from the website on the back of the smashbox if you want to buy quantity here. But the actual Lacons brand containers are expensive so your better off looking for something else thats similar. You can also find on ebay with a little searching, look for hinged lid containers, sample containers, craft containers like bead containers etc. Also look of google for hinged-lid container. And look under ebay for 'plastic vials'

    Jeff aka Sprangalang sent me a sample in a sweet little screwtop metal container obtained from the website above. It was the perfect size and he says there is no minimum order. They seem cheap enough. Great container that comes in all sizes.

    Nice sites, i like the ones at specialtybottle, they are about the size of a standard snuff tin. Looks like I can get about 20 of them for 10$ shipped

    Actually, I have the smash boxes available at NicotineRush.com. I don't have them on the site yet but they are available for .75 each. They are WHITE not black. Only color available.

    Where does the name "smash" boxes come from? Hope it does not refer to what may happen with one's snuff.....box might get smashed in my pocket if I'm not careful!!

    Maybe it's in the way you close the box. It's sort of a smashing/squeezing type motion with the thumb and forefinger. Actually, I've used one for years. They are very convenient, secure, small footprint, and don't wear out for quite some time.

    There's a company called LAcontainer that makes great ones. I posted about them in another thread that seems to have gone unread and ignored, I believe the site it www.lacontainer.com
    also they are available non-bulk and rather cheap from a site called SKS bottle, maybe the same as previously mentioned specialty bottle

    1Fed, I have those available currently in white only. 75 cents. I use one daily and have been for years. The free sample that I supply with every snuff order is packaged in one.
