The producer describes it as an unscented pure snuff. It is very fine and dry and needs to be snuffed carefully. The colour is a light brown and it smells a bit perfumed. As the producer says it is not, I might very well be wrong. Maybe it is just the natural scent of the used tobacco. After snuffing it, the Chakali has a certain taste, of which I am not able to describe. The only thing I can say so far is, that the taste seems to be foreign. It reminds me of a snuff from Israel which has a similar character. I can not feel an impact of nicotine after some pinches. Altogether it is an easy to use snuff. As I prefer the coarse ones, it won't become my favourite.

As Alex Stated, It's advertised as being unscented, but I also detected some sort of light perfume. I Also detected, some sort of "Taste" that I was unable to identify. I Didn't care for this at all. I'll keep it on hand for review another day, but this isn't going into my regular rotation. 4 out of 10 Nostrils.
