Well placed my first Toque order yesterday. I was hesitant because I'm not big on all the flavors. Everyone says the original is an SP type snuff which is my favorite type so figured I give Toque a shot.

Anyways after my order I received an email from Roderick saying I had been over charged on my order. How often does that happen from other retailers? Any how everything I read about Roderick seems to be 100% true. If the snuff is as good as everyone else seems to think I will definitely be happy to support an honest retailer.

    Thanks Roderick!!!

    Thanks Shooter,
Always remember to click on the 'rest of the world' in the deliver to section in the checkout. If you don't you get charged European Tax.

Shooter, I think you will really like the original. It is my favorite SP snuff for sure because of the flavour, freshness, texture and moisture level. Let us know how you like it. I'm just trying to use up the large stock I have of other SP's and in the future, that's probably the only SP I'll buy.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Bryan. I would love it if Toque Original would become my favorite also because of the ability to buy bulk and doing business with Roderick.

How would you compare original to Tom Buck for instance on flavor, moisture and such?

    Thanks

Shooter, you should try Natural as well. If you like Original I'm sure you will also love Natural.

Toque Original is slightly finer and moisterer than Tom Buck in my opinion. I really like them both- but since trying Toque Original- I like it the best...the flavour is pretty strong like Tom Buck.

I agree with Pieter. Natural is a snuff I could take all day as well.

Tom Buck is more pungent than Original but I think the SP citrussy thing is stronger in Original and it is a cleaner taste. It seems to be quite similar to Wilsons SP100 if you have ever had that.

Toque Original and SP100 are very similar and both are my favourite snuffs.

Thanks for the info guys and I will try the natural next order Pieter. I'm glad the scent is at least as strong as the TB. What would a good comparison for Toque Natural be?

I can't think of anything that is at all close. Maybe S. Gawiths Yellow Crest, but not really.

I would say Toque natural is just plain "clean." That's what I think of. When I want to take a no BS snuff- that feels pure- I need to have my Toque natural. It is not what I'd call an "exciting" snuff. It's just plain good and fun to use as a base to mix with. My favorite mixture is base of Toque Natural or Original, and I add a bit of American Scotch, American sweet honey, and some Kendall Brown. It's a complex flavour...I only put a little of the other snuffs- just enough to make it interesting...in fact, I think I'll go make some right now!
