One of my top snuffs is Samuel Gawith Black Coffee. I love real coffee as well and drink loads of it every day.

I am interested in buying some different coffee scented snuff just to see what else is out there. Can anyone tell me the best coffee snuff available in their opinion? (I live in the UK so no obscure American brands please! LOL)

The only ones I have tried are Toque Espresso and Wilson's Irish Coffee. Of the two I prefer the Toque, it seems to have more of a natural smelling strong coffee essence to it. The Irish Coffee, has almost a sickly sweetness to it that doesn't really appeal to me much most of the time, but I still like it occasionally.

Toque Espresso is by far the best coffee snuff IMO, tastes just like a strong black coffee mixed with cigars. Excellent!

Gawith Hoggarth Tia Maria is not bad. About the same color/grind/moisture as the SG Black Coffee. But it does have a slight spicy floral tone to it. Toque Espresso is good. Haven't tried yet but here good things about the Bespoke Real Coffee. I plan on getting this one soon as I really like all the other Bespokes. You can make a good coffee snuff with a toast variety. Take some snuff and pour into a paper coffee filter, place this into a 1/2 full or 1/2 empty (depending on how you look at it) can of ground coffee, place filter on top of coffee & put the lid on. Leave in till you've achieved what you want. You can even use those small coffee pods like Senseo and place the pod directly into your tin until you've achieved effect. Or you can get a fine grind coffee and add directly. Or a coarse ground coffee and add directly then sieve it out later if you don't want the actual coffee in your nose.

That's an interesting idea Troutstroker, I had never thought of adding my own coffee flavouring...

I'm happily addicted to TOQUE Espresso and use it every day. I don't smell any coffee in it, only GOOD, STRONG, PURE, LOVELY TOBACCO!!!
I also have some Black Coffe and did not like it at all, reminded me of the smell of floor polish when I was a kid. Then I blended it with some Kendal Apricot and WOW!!! A winner, don't want to be without it, ever.

I also ditnt smell any coffe in the Toque Espresso for a while. I guess the
reason is that I only used menthol snuffs before: Gawith appricot, Ozona rasperry,
Ozona cherry and others. Now after 3 weeks with Toque only, something has changed:
My old Snuffs taste very different: much stronger menthol, and finally I smell the
coffe in the Toque Espresso. Looks like Toque has improved my sense of smell. I ll be
    with toque in the future.

Ummm ... I rather hate to mention this Lazarus, but for me the hands-down no-question best coffee snuff available is Smith and Sons' Cafe Royale.

But I guess given your poor experience in the shop recently you won't be trying it any time soon !

You guess right Farley, it will be a while before I grace that particular shop again!! My father-in-law pops in there sometimes...I might ask him to pick me up some next time he's in there.

I wonder why they don't sell Cafe Royale online anywhere...

I read on the snuffstore site that a 50-50 mix of Kendal's Tia Maria and Gawith's Black Coffee is a near-as-dammit substitute for Cafe Royal. Might be worth a try - anyone tested this out?

Yes Didache, Snuff Head and I have tried that. My nose can't tell the difference between the Tia Maria + Black Coffee and the Cafe Royal.

Let me think what coffee snuffs I've tried. The best and my favorite is Samuel Gawith Black Coffee. That's a snuff that a man should try at least once. The same for Royal Coffee from Smith and Sons'.
Another coffee snuff favorite is Dholakia's Coffee. A delicate for the nose snuff that reminds me of a cappuccino with some cream on it and a pinch of a herbal aroma.
Wilsons of Sharrow Irish Coffee and Toque Espresso are also high class snuffs. Especially the second with the cigar aroma that goes very well with the coffee scent.
GH Tia Maria is the one that I don't really like. It has a perfume aroma in it.

where did u get the other dholakia's flavors?

I've tried the SG Black Coffee but not the GH Tia Maria. Guess I'd better get hold of a tin of each to try this blend out - that'll be much cheaper than Smith's.

I don't care for Wilson's Irish Coffee much and I figured Tia Maria might be similar.
