Just got my first snuff bullet in the mail. These things are very convenient when it comes to snuffing whilst driving and such. The pinch is a little small, but thats nothing that can't be solved with repeated use.
Do many of you use these?
I imagine my use of it will be limited to driving and occasionally while I'm out and about.
    Very inventive, though.

I was thinking of getting one of these...do you find they are cleaner to use than just sniffing off the back of the hand or between fingers?

    Which model did you buy?

I'd be interested to hear more about what you think of it.

The pinch is so small it makes me crazy. I tried just doing several pinches in a row but that was too time consuming and unsatisfying and I started just unscrewing the bullet and pouring on the back of hand. Didn't take long to figure out that there's no point in me carrying a bullet since I didn't use it like it's meant to be used.

I pretty much only use them while driving, or when I am on the beach or at a wedding or someplace where discretion is best. I take a big pinch usually so when I do use a bullet I find myself taking about 3 or 4 shots up each nostril.

This is the model I bought, Lazarus.

Well, it's definitely cleaner, as you don't have to touch the snuff, past filling the bullet itself. I've been using it while driving, and the convenience is outstanding. Onefortheroad is right when he says the pinches are very small, but like Bigsnoot said, just take 3 or 4 up each nostril.
    I'm enjoying it so far.

Get yourself an in-car snuffbox kit. Well, you can always design the first one ever :-)

You'll have to ask Roderick that, Roam. It was the cheapest one on Snuff Store. Ha.
As for the in-car snuffbox...that would definitely be interesting.
    Someone should straight do that.

It would have to be a very short term in-car snuffbox as the snuff will degrade fast if left in the car. You would have to make sure and use whats in their pretty quickly or remove from car when parked. Unless of course you live in a cold climate year round.

Has anyone used this model of snuff bullet/rocket before? I'm thinking of getting one of these as I need a 'professional' discreet looking one for work...

I tried using a bullet whilst driving but I found that (a) I'd need two "twists" per nostril to get a similar sized amount to my normal pinches and (b) actually doing the twisting thing behind the wheel isn't so easy !

Solution: an old snuff box with a lid that's now too loose to use in the pocket, affixed to the dashboard with some sticky plastic. I can use one hand to slide the lid part-way, take a pinch or two and close it again :o)

    ...or you could just either

    A) Pull over and pinch or

    B) Don't snuff until you reach your destination ;o)

I'm trying to imagine the look on the Police Officers face after you plow your car into a tree..."Well Officer I was taking a pinch of snuff..."

I pinch from a tin while driving occasionally. And of course there are the red lights.

Pinching from a wooden box is the answer for multitasking.
    nothing to unscrew.
drive with your left hand, and with your right open the box, pinch#1,pinch#2, close said box, continue driving. You don't even have to take your eyes off the road.
Reverse hands if in the UK. LOL!
Or if you are cursed with a manual gear shift,( automatic transmission was invented by snuffers on the go...) do what Lazarus says.
    just pull over.

"drive with your left hand, and with your right open the box"

or vice versa, depending on which side of the car your steering wheel is.... :)

    Oh yes.

It's just that on my right in the car there is nowhere to put the snuff box!

Actually I have found that I can cope with the German, blue plastic boxes you can get from Rajek's when I'm driving. The lid opens easily enough and the box is wide enough that I don't have to look to pinch. Works for me anyway.

I do use a bullet while driving and also when I'm out doing yard work or working in the veggie garden and I have dirty hands & fingernails. And when I'm driving I don't always need a big pinch so a few hits from the bullet is fine. I have gotten where I can pack & twist the bullet with one hand. But otherwise I use either a silver or wooden box when I'm out on the town & generally just use the tins at home.

The onefortheroad boxes are good for driving when you get the hang and they loosen up a bit
