I've just received a new order of snuff from Toque and Snuffstore and here are my reviews:

Toque Absinthe: My God this stuff is sh*t hot, if you like absinthe or just a nice aniseed/herb snuff then this is the one for you 10/10.

Toque Cherry: Another Toque that will become a firm favourite. It is like snuffing a really good cherry jam. It tastes natural though and not chemical like. 10/10.

Toque Peanut Butter: I never thought this one would work, but it has. It tastes just like peanut butter, slightly sweet, slightly salty. Very good balance. Needs airing though 8/10

Magnet Peach: This rips Gawith Apricots' head off and spits down its throat, I've never had a fruit flavoured snuff so fruity apart from Toque Cherry. Excellent stuff. 9.5/10

Taxi Rock Spearmint: This is the best mint flavoured snuff I've tried, its just like snorting a stick of Wrigleys up your nose, refreshing too. Its also the same texture as Taxi Red, very coarse and wet. 9/10

As you can see I'm a very happy chappy as far as these snuffs are concerned, I was like a kid in a sweet shop this morning. I just hope my next order will be so satisfying.

Magnet Peach and Taxi Rock Spearmint is so cheap in SA, I can actually open up a fresh tin every day and chuck the remains away at night!! I mix the Peach with Taxi Blue and/or Red and use it as an everyday, all day snuff. But.....since I discovered Toque Espresso, I can't get myself so far as to go without it for a whole day. I therefore have in my pocket at all times some Espresso plus a tins of "something else".
Can't quite agree that Magnet Peach beats Gawith Apricot. To me they are in different "leagues". I don't like the Peach as a "straight" snuff but only when blended with Taxi Blue/Red. The Gawith Apricot is a special for me and I take a pinch or two every night before going to bed.
I do agree that Rock Spearmint is the best mint I have tasted so for. I'm waiting for Toque's Spearmint and will comment on that once I've tried it. If it's as good as the other Toque's I've tried so far, I might change my mind about the Rock!!!

I have not tried Gawith Apricot, but I do love the Magnet Peach & Wilsons of Sharrow Lemon Grove.
Still haven't developed a taste for Samuel Gawith Golden Glow

The first snuff I tried was Honey Bee Snuff. I did make a mistake it's Gawith Apricot that I have tried with menthol. In the back of my mind I always remember reading that it was Poschl-Gawith Apricot Sniff something about being Licensed , not to cause confusion the one in the pretty black container. So I think Poschl, my memory isn't the best all the time. The ones that I have not tried is Samuel Gawith Apricot Snuff &Wilsons Apricot Snuff. Thanks Trout and W.C. Dummy. I need to make a personal list in my profile.

These are the snuffs I've tried:

    Honey Bee - US

    Tia Maria Snuff Kendal

    Poschl-Gawith Apricot

    Toque Toffee

    Toque Chocolate

    Dental Sweet - US

    Bruton - US

    Wilsons Rum & Blackberry Snuff

    Bespoke Tobacco Real Coffee Snuff

    Wilsons Of Best Dark

    Wilsons Of Sharrow Best SP

    Wilsons Lemon Grove Snuff

    Samuel Gawith Golden Glow Snuff

    Samuel Gawith Black Coffee Snuff

    Peach Snuff Magnet

The Snuff I've just ordered from Snuff Store waiting for delivery.

    Jaxons English Toffee Snuff

    Jaxons Cafe Creme Snuff

Hedges Snuff L260 'The Snuff - Just interested in trying this old snuff made for colds. The description made it hard to pass-up recipe dating back to the 1800's.
