agalloch - not unlike the waves. favourite song at the moment.
apart from that everything that is melodic and monotonous enough not to get on my nerves. black metal, trance, some ska stuff, monotonous jazz and blues. preferably without vocals.
I listened to Jack Johnson today while I did some landscaping. Oh and I was chewing a piece of cannonball plug that I dipped in Brutons. Talk about yummy.
I'll listen to just about everything except opera & classical. But my preferred music is the old classic country & bluegrass, none of that new country that is more like pop music. Also like classic rock. And bands like Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, Oasis. When I was younger I was into things like Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Wham.
I'm not an 80's child but I was still young in the early 80's. At that same time my older brother was really into Iron Maiden, Quit Riot, Judas Priest, Def Leppard.
Hood, outside closer.
Interesting band definately I almost call them trip hop but they're too good for that. accidently find musicly though. It's beena while since I've listened to it.
Right now I am listening to ESPN Sports Radio, but as far as music goes, my musical tastes are all over the map. I like most music, except country...I grew up listening to the same stuff as Trouts brother: Priest, Maiden, Scorpions, (all 80's metal before Poison and Winger ruined it lol) etc.. I do find myself mellowing out some the older I get. I guess my favorite band of all time is Pink Floyd.
Yeah, all good choices and floyd are a great band. My tastes go all over the place as well ; from Handel to Motorhead, who I've seen several times and seeing them again in November. I can't really think if a form I don't like (manufactured bubble gum shit being the exception)
I'm listening to my wife say, " i don't understand why you snort that crap up your nose when it just makes you stuffy an hour later, then you have to use a ortavin to be able to breathe, then you do it again.
And it's in surround sound my friends!!!!!
i figured out a way to hook up my i-pod top the radio in the tractor.
Now I've got all types of Hendrix just cranked!!
If you can imagine going to a winery, just about to walk inside and notice, Foxy Lady coming from the vineyard somewhere..
nightcap, I'm pretty good friends with one of the winery owners near by, his winery is called Amador Cellars. I like to stop by and chat with him when I'm out wine tasting or happen to be in the area. When I show up & he's not busy with customers, he always grabs his thief and we go in the back to sample some barrels. The last time I talked to him he told me about the new tractor he bought that had air conditioning and satellite radio. He was all proud like a strutting peacock.
This sign is from one of the wineries down the road from my friends winery. They have these caution signs all along the highway near their winery. They also have clothing for sale in the tasting room with this logo. I have a shirt and love it. Its great. They also sell the signs but without the 'Bray Vineyards' printed on it.
slowdive. Awesome melancholy rock band that got fucked forever by their label. Just have to say I hate the major record labels it's amazing they've stayed in bussiness primarily through their own mythololgy and now want to blame theift on their loses when really it's their own poor practices not downloads that make them pointless. Sorry for the rant.
No lie... I just put in John 5... the devil know my name.
Normally I'm not into that heavy dark stuff, but it's all intsrumental, and John 5 is an amazing guitarist!!
Worth a listen.
You ever hear chicken pick'n in metaal form? hmmmmmm????????????
