Oh and it's great for treating malaria. Which was what it was orginaly produced to do and is also why it became a big hit back in france as the french soldiers seemed to still be worried about malaria even after returning home.
absinthe was developed to treat malaria. The french soldiers used it in the tropics for that purpose then continued to drink it when back in france introducing it to the continent as pleasure. And it really does work to treat malaria though you have to keep drinking it on a daily basis.
RODERICK, please put a post up when we can order the new snuff. I need some more original as in a few days I used up the entire 10g tin. But I'm waiting so I can order some of the new snuffs as well.
Sorry I haven't got any photos yet, I was planning to do them this weekend, but there are so many orders coming in that they will have to wait until next week.
It's all good, I just ordered one each of all the new ones! Was a bit disappointed that there was no toast...maybe next batch of new creations... Anyways got one of each of the new ones and a whole bunch of the others that I had run out of, including a 100g bag of Natural....I cannot wait till next week when my order gets here! Thanks Roderick!
After a good 3 weeks of sampling all 10 flavors I ordered... I have to say that Toque Toffee is the best snuff I've ever tried in my life. I'm absolutely in love with it, closely followed by Blueberry and Vanilla. Chocolate would be fourth tied with Peanut Butter, and then, surprisingly, Original (I normally don't like SPs too much). Espresso and Natural are very nice but I don't use them that often.
This is funny, because I used to LOVE all cool snuffs... but since I tried Toque Toffee I can't bring myself to sniff anything with menthol or anise in it. Toque Menthol and Peppermint are the last ones on my Toque list.
I still haven't mixed Toque snuffs together... they are just perfect on their own. Any suggestions?
I'm not sure I would mix the flavoured Toques together, but they would be good additions to plain SP's. The natural is also a good base for mixing - I like natural with just a hint of Royal George
These are all good mixes I enjoy. I usually put a pinch of each on back of hand in the indentation behind my index finger knuckle. Then mix together with a paper clip.
Must share this with you. My order from TOQUE got lost. On the 28th of July I informed Roderick. On that same day, he posted off a new order. Yesterday, 4th of August, I had the parcel in my hands!!! Unreal, but true. Now I'm working my way through all this lovely stuff/snuff and will, in time, give my comments. Thanks Roderick, you are a star !
I LOVE TOQUE snuff and one of the main reasons for that is because the snuff is so "soft" on my nose. I don't like snuff which makes my nose water or give me a burning sensation in my "snuff holder". Although there are quite a number of snuffs which I enjoy, especilally POSCHL's products, I will easily survive on TOQUE alone. They supply the whole range of flavours which I like, and more!!
I tried the Vanilla during the past weekend and I'm very happy with the product. The Vanilla flavour is so subtle, the snuff is "soft" on my nose and I love it. I believe this is a snuff which I can use all day long.
I also tried the Peppermint. At first it hit me quite hard and I thought, this is not for me. I tried it again, and then some more and I realised that the "hit" lasted only for seconds and then the 'afterburn" was quite nice. Opens up my nose beautifully, cool stuff and I would not think of being without it.
So far, I'm happy with all the TOQUE products I'v used with ESPRESSO still way in front !! I still have some other flavours to work through but I've no doubt that I will like them too.
First time trying Toffee and was very pleased! This will be one of my usual suspects from now on. Just thinking of it make me want to fill my nose. I found that It paired nicely with a Glava over ice. Or, I found it just as enjoyable with a Bailey's over ice. Yes sir! Almost a replacement for Chocolate..........Almost!! Grape fruit was great! Loads of fruit in the nose, very refreshing. This was one of the first things in my nose in the morning after my coffee. Usually the spot where Chocolate is; along with my coffee. Grapefruit and coffee......ummmmmm..... no. St Clemens, Good but.......... The initial aroma was great! But IO found it faded fast. I was going through more of it than any other sample. I felt the aroma and the effect faded faster then the others. I did enjoy the complexity of the melange of the 2 aromas mind you!! Congrats on that Roderick! It is an art when you can blend two aromatics, ( or flovours for that matter), and allow each to shine through the final melange. Is the nic content the same or lower as the rest? And Fianlly Good Old Chocolate. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM My fav! It did smell a little different that when I ordered it last. This could be due to the amount of time each sample could have spent in the container before reching me......Canada
Anyway, I loved every sapmple. My normal rotaion now is Chocolate, Toffee, grape fruit, and blend of Natural, Solani VA/Per, Toffee and Chocolate. Excellent products Roderick!!
A colleague of mine just made a Toque order and we have another that just discovered the joys of snuff. I gave him some of my gifted Toque Chocolate. Thanks for that Roderick! He still needs to learn the wonders that the world of Toque has to offer. Any day now. Since I'm digging the non-mentholated fruits so much. I thought I might mention the most popular fruits here in Hawaii. Pineapple, mango, papaya, banana, lychee, guava, passion fruit, coconut, and not a fruit but a nut, macadamia nut. We got some Whiskey hype going on so good luck on that.
i just got my new order i've been out of the loop for a while but i am extreemly impressed the tins are nice the new bullets are sweet i love the natural and the vinilla the absinthe is nice to my wife would dissagree she thinks it's the most amazing snuff ever it might grow on me though hats off dude you have done it again keep up the good work
Have I been asleep or something, just noticed all the new Toque flavours on the online shop. I have a bit of catching up to do methinks, incredible range of snuffs now, don't know which to get of the new ones, maybe all of them. Gave away chocolate and menthol 25g tins recently at a festival, everybody wanted some. I reckon toque would be a big hit over here in shops /off licences too. Its time for an all out assault on Ireland, you can only buy O&G in shops here.
I was initially disturbed by the thought of blueberry snuff, then I thought, "well, there are plenty of raspberry and other fruity snuffs, why not?!" I'm *totally* loving Toque blueberry. The chocolate is good too, but my faves so far are menthol and peppermint....ahhh sweet Toque! I almost wish it was edible! maybe I'll figure out a way to make some Toque flavored cookies to satisfy my nic-need and my sweet-tooth....
