Im Building a wish list at Rajeks and gonna put an order in early next week,with the help of the new snuffreviews site Im slowly adding some bernards snuffs to the list.So Im wondering how your experience has been with Rajeks,and also what are some must have hard to find snuffs they carry I should get?It looks like shipping is spendy so I wanna get my bang for my buck and load up on stuff other shops might not carry.Thanks for any suggestions!

You shouldnt miss the Jubiläums snuff from Bernard, its nice smokey with a little menthol,.. great snuff.
..So smokey that my father thought that i have started to smoke again, as i met him with this snuff in my
nose. -

Jajek's are simply great when it come to mail order so have no worries on that account.
I'll second that re the Jubiläums Snuff. Well worth trying all the Bernard snuffs in my opinion, but then I'm biased - Regensburg was where I started snuffing back in the 70s! -
Ermtony, had your Jubiläums snuff the label 275 Jahre Bernard ? they have their 275 years
anniversary this year. Before that it was labled 260 Jahre Bernard. I m just wondering,
because you describe that snuff as light menthol and fruit. If i take a large pinch, its like
smoking very good tobacco for me... -
I've had them with both labels, 260 and 275, and although I have none left with the 260 label I'm sure it's the same snuff. The menthol and fruit components are pretty light and agree, the overall effect is of an excellent smoke.

bernhards "gekachelte virginie" and "offenbacher cardinal" are great snuffs, ans also freat value for your money.
if you do not hate licorice, you wan to order arnold andres "westfalenprise"
bernhards "amostrinha", if you fancy a lightly smokey, camphour snuff.
te poeschl schmalzlers are not good enough to recommend, but the bernard schmalzlers are. never had the sternecker schmalzlers, but they seem to be best, from what other people say. -
Thanks for the suggestions,I decided Im going to get every Bernard offering *except* the Schmalzer white blue box(looks like a ordinary menthol) and the sugar non-snuffs,I'll try the A.A. Westfalenprise as well,Licorice sounds good,But now you got me thinking about the Poschls Schmalzlers, they are not so good huh? I put all three different Sternecker Schmalzlers on the list as well.Thinking about the Gluk auf prise,edel frucht,and jubilaumsprise too, and maybe the "mix" snuff.
Edit- Rajeks web page warns of delays with Bernards snuffs,apparently there is a strong demand and high quantity orders coming in -
Bob - no surprise there. The image is the Yorkshire flag, a white rose on a blue field. Sam Smith's is in Yorkshire of course, in Tadcaster, about 50 miles west of me here in Hull. They make very fine beer....
W.C.dummy - I've only had one short delay on an order for Bernard's snuff from Rajek's as at that time they had been cleaned out of the aecht altbayerischer Schmalzler and the Schmalzlerfranzl. My order was only held up by a week though. -
W.C.dummy - the warning message is already outdated, and removed from the german rajek site.
Bernard will stay in buisiness and continue to make snuff. -
the one beer of theirs I've tried is great oatmeal stout used it for cooking and myself last night wonderfull.

i would not recommend getting the "mix" snuf as it is even advertised as being cheap stuff to mix with other snuffs.
the blau-weiss (blue white) is not made of tobacco i think.
the poeschl schmalzlers are not bad. its only that i think the bernhards are better and the sterneckers are awesome from what i heard. still, they are cheap. why dont jus get a 25g bag at 2 dollars a piece of the poeschl schmlazlers too...? -
@ Betonente, Too late about poschls "mix" snuff,I already ordered it,Oh well it was only 2 bucks,I also ordered all the bernards stuff except the blue-white, also got the poschls schmalzers,and all three of the sterneckers,and various other snuffs I havnt tried yet.betonente,since you havnt tried the sterneckers yet whisper me your address and when they arrive I will mail you some samples.

that is extremely generous, thank you. but i am in korea at he moment and shipping would be extremely expensive. plus i return to germany in 5 weeks and there is at least one sternecker waiting for me.. ^^

and the mix snuff might be ok. i never tried it. only, the desription did not make me wanna try it. let us hear a review of the mix snuf, when they arrive.
