    Hi All,

Just had a big Wilsons delivery and added five 'new' Wilsons snuff blends - they're new to Snuff Store, not new to Wilsons if you get what I mean? We're back to fully stocked up on Fribourg & Treyer as well. There seems to have been a rush on F & T Bordeaux for some reason recently.

    Camphor & Mild
    Extra Crumbs of Comfort
    Country Mint
    Rosemary
    Thyme & Lemon

I've only so far tried Extra Crumbs of Comfort. The 'normal' version is one of my faves and so I couldn't resist. If you like Crumbs of Comfort, you've got to give it a try. It's the same as normal C of C, only stronger...

There was a mention on here a while back about 'herb' lovers snuff, so hopefully Rosemary, Country Mint and the Thyme & Lemon will fit the bill.

If you're after any others, give me a shout.

    Ta-Ta
    Tim

Not fair, Tim. I just bought enough to last me for about 2 months, (from you, as a matter of fact!) but, anthing called "Camphor & Mild", I've just got to try, so.......

    Cheers,
    Java

Camphor & Mild - My favourite snuff! Alas, Wilsons stopped making it two or three years ago, due to falling sales of the same, however, I did manage to talk them in to blending me 1lb at a time up when my stocks were getting low. Hopefully now, they will have brought this blend back for good and I won't have to worry about it running out again.

As the name would suggest, it is slightly mild, a good shot of Camphor at first, that lessens after a while. To me, it is the ultimate all day snuff.

I've just finished a tin of Thyme and Lemon. It's very nice indeed, with a strong taste of thyme which lasts for ages. I could use a bit more lemon in there for balance but this is a minor gripe.

    Hi Brother Paul & FarleyFlavors,

Camphor & Mild, maybe the 1lb a go orders convinced Wilsons to add Camphor & Mild to the inventory again... I was speaking to them about ingredients, they mentioned that they'd had trouble for a while sourcing the essential oils for a few of the more obscure blends. They mentioned Lemon Grove as one which had caused them problems in the past - now fortunately resolved.

YES! Spoken to my usual contact at Sharrow, and they confirm that Camphor & Mild is back on the list! Excellent news, as I was getting slightly concerned that they would soon be getting to a point where they could no longer supply me with it. Happy Days are here again!

mild camphor I already know I'll love that one. Before I discovered online ordering I loved makeing camphor scented snuff and thought it would be a common scent because of how good it is, yet it seems almost no one makes a straight camphor snuff. Definately going to be on my next order.

I know this is a stupid question, but I have to ask! What is the difference between Camphor and menthol? How can you tell that what you smell in the snuff is camphor and not menthol. I would think both produce a icy cool feeling am I wrong? Is one milder then the other?

one comes from mint one from the resin of a tree. Both have certain similarities but not really that close scentwise feelwise pretty similar. camphor also has cleansing properties mentaly and microbiologicaly.
