As most of you here know I made this as a joke and then commercialised it for some interested customers. It has now bizarrely become one of our best sellers. I say this as I personally hated it.

I have, over the last couple of months, been working on a new “Spanish Gold” with more of a locker room odour which prompted me to try “Cheese and Bacon” again. I still don’t like it, I love it! The cheese aroma now reminds me of a favourite “Gorgonzola” and I love its quirkiness. I’m rather glad I listened to all you crazy snuffers, as our range would have been much less exciting without it!

Thanks for all your support on this weird snuff.

This may not be as stupid a question as it first appears. In the summer of last year, I met a professor of addictions at a British university (better not say which) and he told me he liked to use snuff but he had never found it addictive. I personally think snuff is useful to break the addiction in smokers and chewing tobacco users and can then be picked up and put down at will. What do other people feel, how does snuff help you?

hello everyone. I'm really enjoying the site and I'm really enjoying my Toque order. I'm thinking I'd like to try some other brands and WoS seems like another solid range.
i'd appreciate any comments or suggestions.
Early impressions from my toque order:
Natural: great for learning what plain tobacco is about, I think i'd like some more plain snuffs, but I'd like them to be really unique.
Original: really enjoying it, though I think I like the Gem more
SP Gem: a great subtle but complex snuff. I definitely will reorder.
Cherry Menthol: I didn't thinkI liked it at first but last night I started to get in to it.
Cherry: not really liking it.
Lime Toast: blows my head off, I really like this and would like a similar offering from another producer in intensity.

So after looking around at the WoS range i think I'll try:
BEst SP
Crumbs of Comfort
HDT 22
Jasmine (maybe)
Grand Cairo
Tom Buck
Best Dark

thoughts?

Hi just received my very prompt delivery of 100g of Thai Thuoc Lao tobacco from Toque. Being as impatient as I am I just ground up a small amount in my Pestle and Mortar for 5 mins or so, sieved it to remove the few larger bits that wouldn't grind, took a pinch and wow! Very aromatic lingering tobacco scent, noticable nicotine with no burn, and very little made it to my throat if any. Why anyone would want to add other aromas to it I don't know, it is just as the tobacconist's used to smell like when I was growing up. 5g of it is sitting in an empty portion snus can, with some damp tissue paper in the ashtray lid with a few holes to add a little moisture to the snuff (homemade humidor - think thats the word. Can't claim credit for the idea of the snus can humidor, thanks to whoever posted it on the board). Going to leave it a few days to settle, but has opened my eyes to plain tobacco snuff.

Has anyone else got any Thuoc Lao snuff tips to share. Also buying tobacco like this from Toque is great haven't seen it anywhere else on my internet snuff travels. Got another string to my stopping smoking bow, very pleasantly surprised!
